Aquablu from Selecta wins over jury and public in CBRE Supplier Innovation Challenge

Boom, 2. October 2023, Selecta, the European market leader in unattended solutions for coffee, soft drinks, snacks and fresh food, won CBRE's Supplier Innovation Challenge and Audience Choice Award with its new Aquablu solution, a sustainable flavored vitamin water concept. Through the Supplier Innovation Challenge, CBRE, the world's largest commercial real estate and investment company, awards suppliers each year with innovative ideas and top-tier customer-focused solutions.

Year after year, CBRE challenges its suppliers to present innovative ideas, new approaches and customer-specific solutions. Out of numerous entries, Selecta was selected as one of the five finalists for the 2023 Belgium Supplier Innovation Challenge. The company presented its new Aquablu solution, winning over not only the jury, but also the public, winning the Audience Choice Award with 70% of the votes.

Healthy without worry
Selecta partnered with Aquablu to offer the Aquablu REFILL+, a water dispenser for more healthy beverages. The system filters up to 99% of all impurities such as chlorine, pesticides and hormones from normal tap water. In addition, the special nanofilter also captures harmful substances such as microplastics, pharmaceutical residues, heavy metals, bacteria and viruses. Afterwards, the purified tap water is enriched with flavors, vitamins and electrolytes.
